On Saturday, June 7, 2025, three members of our club – Elsa, Killian, and Mathieu – had the pleasure of attending the inauguration ceremony of the governor of District 7850, which took place in Magog.
This event, rich in symbolism, marks the transition between two personalities in the service of Rotary.
After a year in office, Kelly Drew passed the torch to Luc Pomerleau, the new district governor and a member of our sponsoring club in Sherbrooke! This moment of recognition and transition allowed us to acknowledge Kelly's commitment, whose dynamism and attentiveness marked this year of governance. Luc, for his part, hosted the event and presented the main outlines of his upcoming year.
The ceremony took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, bringing together members from various clubs in the district and former governors. For our Sherbrooke trio, it was an opportunity to build connections, represent our young Rotaract club, and draw inspiration from the collective energy that drives Rotary.
Congratulations to Kelly on her journey, and best of luck to Luc for this new adventure!
